Spin A Yarn
Episode 5: The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas - Ursula K. Le Guin
Today after a bit of a hiatus we come back with a head scratching tale. We will wander through what it is like to be a part of a vast utopia so idyllic, that you more than likely will be unable to accept it as a possibility.
Well for every action, there is a reaction. What does it cost to create a utopia? Let's find out.
Hello everyone,
It has been quite awhile since our last foray into spinning a proverbial yarn. Though today, we are coming back with a wonderful story and piece of philosophical thinking. The prose and masterful unfolding of the tale is something I hope you enjoy as much as I did. Without further ado:
The entirety of The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas is available online for reading.
